Song “Maestra Vida”

Ruben Blades is a “salsa” singer from Panama, he feel a big love to Puerto Rican people and sang many time with various Puerto Rican artists. Blades write a song named “Maestra Vida” or “Life Teacher” and tell to the audience his experience and devotion bringing thanks to the life. He used a different word to make a rhythm used a pattern of repetition by vowels or assonance sounds. In any one of the lines of the song we can feel this love he can demonstrate to his life that haves many things. He was inspired in many themes to write a song but the principal are life, politics, motherland, and also the Nuyorican salsa. Cause those inspirations themes and rhythms were really important to the Puerto Rican and any people.

Iago “the psychotic”

Shakespeare is the one of best writer of tragedy plays and in his play Othello is not the exception. Othello is a tragic story about love, murder and may be egoism. The most of problems occurred in this play was caused by Iago, a character with a different personality of a normal person and he have many disturbances in his mind. I think all of his problem have began when he was a children he can see his mother to be unfaithful to her husband (his father) and this thought run every day in his mind and sick him and later transformed in a psychopath.

The psychopaths cannot empathize neither to feel fault, therefore they interact with the other people as if be any another object, they utilize them to obtain their objectives. Necessarily they have not to cause some badly, but if they do something for the benefit of someone or of some cause apparently altruist is only by selfishness, for his benefit. And many of these ways to think and to act of Iago are the main reasons to can demonstrate some type of anger against somebody.

Iago carry with a very serious problem since it has not been able to even surpass it, this stay working to him in the mind and now it tries to take revenge or to repeat that tragedy of its childhood with its near friends being the most affected Othello and Desdemona. It is difficult to think that her wife Emilia has not realized her disease. But he is more impressive still to know as Iago can change of personality in only seconds and not show any type of sign.

When a person wants that they recognized it by something tries to make the things the best possible Iago did it thus but it did not go to exactly which they recognized and they gave him the title of lieutenant. May be until this moment his disease was missing or controlled and this event very well that as much he yearned for do not arrive at its hands its anguish was made feel and began to arise the bad thoughts that caused so many unnecessary deaths caused of a promotion.

The diseases can get to uncontrolled the life of the people mainly the mental ones and if they are not treated in time may be they can get to finish with a bad end like the one of Iago. Other possibilities that could aggravate the situation, like is it that cannot be discarded the wife of Iago Emilia was to him unfaithful with Othello and that woke up in the other feelings of wrath. Also the love that Othello bring to Desdemona was very pretty and apparently Iago can’t feel the same with its wife. The factors are many that cannot be known but I can arrive at the conclusion from which these problems were because of their mental disease.

Iago’s character

This personage is known as Iago the honest somewhat contradictory one because Iago is the cause of all the problems in the play. The subaltern of Othello and is a very intelligent personage and he knows to manipulate the people in such a way that he can obtain the confidence of his “victims” Othello and Rodrigo. Iago causes lights up in the person honest and good friend before Othello but in the fund is not this. Iago causes jealousy and hatred in Othello toward Desdemona. Iago is one of most sophisticated villain in Shakespeare play. Iago reveals a great capacity to dissemble to all the people around him. In my opinion all this badness and very villainous of Iago is on account of the jealousy senses toward the love that has Othello feels to its wife Desdemona. This personage has many negative feelings wrapped as is it the envy principally, the hatred, racism and many other that do that the audience can realize its wickedness since early beginnings of the play when Rodrigo is influenced for Iago to try to conquer Desdemona. Then begin the conflict to can be the governor. Something that impresses me a lot because of all these tragedies occurred in the play in anyone is seen affected the personage of Iago because in the end he continues alive and although with his dead wife but by hand of himself. This plays is a tragic actuation but have many teachings to the audience learning.

My English Trajectory and Motivation

If I was a kid I needed take the English class in the elementary school. I remember bad and good stories learning that language. I take a short class in a summer camp long time ago to improve my knowledge in English but am that a bad experience because the class was so elementary and I not learn anything. When finally I was graduate for secondary my English is not really strong to make a conversation. In the colegio the first semester of first year (freshman) I enter in the ROTC program I take classes all time in English labs all courses was in English and this I really wanted because I can learn and practice.

Now my English stay in the mode on “stand by” because I think I left more to learn and practice. My uses right now were read the text books, exploring the internet, taking the normal classes at Colegio. The true is I am not practice the oral English and I think I need more practice in writing and reading. Some times I think in take a someone internship in US work or take some experience in English and that help me a lot in my career.

I want live in other country out of PR. But I need work in this country but if I only speak Spanish many doors was closed to me. The English language is the universal language to speak and communicated with all people that are my principal motivation to learned English and that is other reason to adopt this interest language.
